The Pilgrims are part of Group D this season and will stage the 10th National League Cup fixture to be played at the Jakemans Community Stadium.

United have entertained Leeds United, Sunderland, Newcastle United and Middlesbrough in both seasons to date – plus West Ham United in last season's quarter-final tie.

Manager Paul Hurst is likely to shuffle his pack, with the likes of Luke Faxon and George Ward looking for their first competitive action of the season.

Hurst will check on the fitness of midfielder Nicholas Pozo, who was forced off at the end of the first half against Solihull Moors on Saturday.

Should the scoreline remain level after 90 minutes, the match will head to penalties to determine the destination of an extra point.

The club are only opening the Acorn Taxis (West) Stand for this fixture – with tickets on sale here or contactless payments available on the turnstiles.

The shuttle bus service is not running for this fixture. Car park season pass holders can utilise their normal spaces.
